With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I couldn't help thinking about outfit ideas for him. As someone who enjoys getting dolled up for date night, I also wondered what men think about when they have to get dressed for V-Day. When putting outfits together, I thought of events like a casual night out versus an intimate dinner. Here are some foundational pieces that will help you figure out what to suggest to your guy.
Keep with the Theme
Nothing says "Valentine's Day" like wearing a classic red shirt. This combination you can dress up or down with a pair of dark, medium wash jeans and nice pair of black loafers or get really comfortable with a pair of white sneakers.
Casual Neutral Night
As someone who loves wearing sexy, slimming dark colors, I couldn't resist offering a neutrals suggestion for a casual date night. To avoid going too dark, I recommend grey. To some women, grey is one of the most attractive colors a man can wear. Other colors are black, blue, and white. I thought these suggestions would be a great, casual combination for date night be it a dinner date or mini-golfing.

This combination is a great option for a nice dinner date. I love the combination of colors. I think that this outfit looks really nice when put together and will look even more amazing if your guy decides to roll up his sleeves.

If your guy is not a fan of keeping with the theme, let him be different. If he likes distressed jeans, let him wear distressed jeans. Don't try to change him if the change is not in his nature. I like this combination as it is different and yet is still well put together. My favorite piece is the jeans which I think are the staple piece of the entire outfit.
