Our Time at Tulemar Resort
This year’s girls trip was experienced in Quepos, Costa Rica. The 6-day, 5 night summer getaway was much anticipated. My four best friends, two older sisters, and I traveled four hours from Charlotte, N.C. to San Jose, Costa Rica where we embarked on a 3-hour shuttle ride from their airport to our villa in the heart of Manuel Antonio National Park.

While room service and outdoor dining was good enough, our group took it a step further by booking a private chef. We wanted at least one night where we didn’t have to be concerned about dining out. Guests can enjoy an array of customizable meal options, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that reflect the region's vibrant flavors. For our dinner, we decided on surf n’ turf with plenty of sides such as salad, potatoes, and risotto. And cheesecake for dessert.
